Claire did find 4 eggs, to be exact, at her very first Easter Egg hunt. Hard to believe that she was only 5 months old last Easter!

Saturday night, yes AFTER 2 Easter Egg hunts and a kite flying excursion (but there was a short nap thrown in there), we dyed our eggs. No one in this house eats them, so Nonna was blessed with 2 dozen very "pretty" easter eggs to do whatever with. Yay for her :P

Claire was headed to bed and Nonna didn't realize we were already working on the eggs. Claire was NOT happy that she hadn't been invited to the egg dying party. Sorry baby. You need your sleep, trust me! Next year, I promise!

Eli was really concentrating! Mostly, he directed us as to which egg to put where and by the end of it all, the eggs had been in every color. Made for some interesting colors! He was so very proud of those eggs! Oh, and can you see his tattoo? His first. His Easter shirt was short sleeved, though, so I tried to gently prepare him that he coudln't wear it to Easter church. In his mind, it was obviously b/c all the other kids would want one. So, after we finished the eggs, he came back from the bathroom with his tattoo gone, but the brightest red spot where he had scrubbed it off all by himself. So, the other kids wouldn't feel bad that they didn't have one, he said! My sweet boy - and I felt so bad for his little arm. It took a while for the spot to go away. He's so stinkin' cute!
